SEASIDE — Banks collected 17 hits in a 16-4 win over Seaside, in a Cowapa League softball game Thursday at Broadway Field.

Banks scored two runs in the fourth, added a run in the fifth, then put the game away with seven runs in the sixth.
Mackenzie Davis was 4-for-4 and scored four runs for the Braves, while teammate Keegan Wise was 3-for-4, and Hannah McCourt had a triple and four runs batted in.
Jetta Ideue had three of Seaside’s seven hits. Ideue and Sequoia Shand each had a double for the Gulls, who drop to 3-2 in league.
Seaside will play its third game in three days Friday, when the Gulls travel to Banks.
