County Commissioner Lianne Thompson will hold a meet-and-greet event on Tuesday, April 24 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. to hear from voters about the issues they feel are most important and to answer their questions. Thompson represents District 5 on the county commission which covers southern Clatsop county including Cannon Beach, Arch Cape, Elsie, Hamlet, Jewell and portions of Seaside. She was elected in 2014 and seeking reelection. The event will be held at Bob Chisholm Community Center, at 1225 Avenue A in Seaside.
