Interior, Rivertides Suites. notfosale

Mark Hopman has been appointed general manager of Best Western Plus Ocean View Resort and Christine Cochran as the general manager of the Rivertide Suites, both located in Seaside.

Hopman and Cochran are responsible for all aspects of operations at their respective hotel, the day-to-day staff management and guest’s satisfaction. They will provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximize operations and guest satisfaction.

Hopman began his career with the company with the Best Western as a front desk agent in 2012 and then was transferred to the Rivertide Suites. Hopman made immediate impact on the operation and then was promoted to front office manager in 2013. In 2015 Hopman was once again promoted due to his skill set and guest engagement skills as the general manager of Rivertide Suites.

Cochran has extensive hotel background across the country including time with several well-respected brand flags including Best Western, Comfort Inn and Days Inn. She also has a job history which demonstrates her dedication to her work/skills as well as earning her certified hospitality administrator certification.
