SWEET HOME — In 4A Regional Play-in action Oct. 21, the Seaside volleyball team was unable to score a return trip to the Sweet 16, as Sweet Home swept the Gulls, 25-17, 25-7, 25-21.

Seaside finished the 2017 season 11-14 overall, 1-9 in the Cowapa League.

The Gulls avoided a winless league season with a five-game victory over Banks Oct. 17, 7-25, 25-23, 25-20, 22-25, 15-11.
