At Seaside High School’s annual scholarship awards event the Seaside P.E.O. held June 6, Chapter CR presented Dania Nolazco with the chapter’s annual $1,000 scholarship award. She also received a number of other awards as well. Dania will be attending Pacific University in the fall. She would love to become a dentist but her more practical side has her considering dental hygiene as well.

P.E.O., an international philanthropic educational organization, holds fundraisers to provide a variety of scholarships and loans to women of all ages. Chapter CR was established in 1953 and through the years has awarded many scholarships: P.E.O. Educational Loan Fund, Oregon P.E.O. Scholarship Fund, and Cottey College, a fully accredited liberal arts college for women in Nevada, Missouri, owned and operated by the P.E.O. Sisterhood since 1927, along with other P.E.O. scholarships.
