The city of Gearhart is presently taking applications to fill vacancies on its planning commission. The positions will be appointed by the mayor and city council. The planning commission usually meets once a month at 6 p.m., the second Thursday of the month.

The commission studies and makes recommendation to the city council regarding land use and other matters relating to planning and development of the city and surrounding area.
