Voter do-over

Here we go again. After an error at the (Clatsop) County (Elections Office) resulted in people getting incorrect ballots in the May election, the county commissioner race for District 5 is a do-over. South County voters will get our new ballots the last week in August, and they are due on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

The issues are the same. We need an independent county commissioner that will represent South County interests. We need someone who has not worked on and expressed support for liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities on the Columbia River. We need Lianne Thompson.

District 5 — please join me again in voting for Lianne Thompson for Clatsop County Commissioner by Tuesday, Sept. 16.
